Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen where friends will be welcomed 1-3 and 6-8, Friday, March 7th.
Service: Services will be held at Rhome Funeral Home Saturday, March 8, 2014
Interment: Interment will follow in the Holy Name Cemetery, Monessen.
Obituary:
Michael J. Novobilsky, 66 years ,of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in Jefferson Regional Health Center.
He was born May 18, 1947 in Monongahela, a son of the late Frank and Mary Graca Novobilsky.
He was Catholic by faith. Michael had graduated Monessen High School with the class of 1965, He was a Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam War. "Pappy Mike" enjoyed hunting and fishing, and looked forward to his family's annual trip to Kennywood Park.
He worked as a Steelworker for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel .
Surviving are his wife, Linda Relosky Novobilsky, his son- Todd M. and wife Laura Novobilsky of Baltimore MD, daughter- Kristen Walters and husband Brian of Monessen, grandchildren- Kara, Kevin, and Audrey Novobilsky and Abigail and Joshua Walters. Brothers- Frank and wife Donna Novobilsky of Perryopolis and John and Eileen Novobilsky of Liberty Boro. A special niece- Tiffany Frolo and her husband Mark, and their children- Caitlyn and Cameron. Also numerous other nieces and nephews .
He was preceded in death by his sister- Janice Novobilsky in addition to his parents, and his father in law Louis Relosky.
