Obituary:
Ruth M. Saksun, 90 , of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at The Residence at Hilltop, Carroll Twp. She was born November 29, 1926 in Donora, a daughter of the late George
and Mary Chacko Yonek.
She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen, and the Jednota Branch # 5127. Mrs. Saksun was a graduate of Donora High School, and had been a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter- Diane and husband Dennis Manown of Rostraver Twp, Grandchildren-Dennis J. Manown of Rostraver Twp, Dana and husband Louis Mariano of Robinson Twp, Missy Stalnaker of Ephrata, and Pam Baxter. Great Grandchildren- Louie, Emma, and Sara. Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Saksun and a son- Richard
L. Stalnaker. Brothers- George Debnar and George Yonek Jr.. Sisters-
Margaret Tokay, Pauline McMasters, and Agnes Savon.
