Viewing: Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rhome Funeral Home Inc., family owned and operated as a member of the Golden Rule, 1209 Grand Blvd. Monessen, where friends will be received on Wednesday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m.
Services: Services will be held at Rhome Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Michael Crookston officiating.
Interment: Monongahela Cemetary
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Mrs. Thomas' name through the funeral home.
Obituary:
Wilma D. Thomas, 88 of Belle Vernon, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Golden Living Nursing Home, Murrysville. She was born September 11, 1924 in N. Charleroi, a Daughter of the late Jack and Rose Ribich Beck Sr. She was a member of the former St. Anthony's Parish of Monessen and currently a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen. Wilma was also a member of- Cro Am Ladies Auxillary, CFU Lodge # 194, Croatian
Club of Monessen, St. George Adult Tamboritzans. CDA Court 776, CBPW, and had been past President of St. Anthony's Ladies Guilde, Elks Ladies Aux., and St. George Bowling League. She worked as a Book Keeper for Millers Dept. Store of Charleroi prior to her retirement. Surviving are her husband, Steve G. Thomas. Her son-Steve Thomas and wife Nancy of Greensburg. Grandchildren- Dana Thomas Gray and husband Chris, Greg Thomas and wife Holly, Great grandchildren- Jacob and Colby Thomas, and Cooper and Lena Gray. Brother- Emil Beck, and numerous nieces and nephews and She was preceded in death by Brothers- Charles, Robert, Matt, Jack Jr.,
Nicholas, and John. A sister- Helen Zoretich.
